At Great Demand from Portal Directors
The rotating business cards above were added onto the portals at great demand from
many of our Portal Directors. They had discovered that many businesses wanted to
purchase business card size advertisements.
After many attempts by Portal Directors to establish their own on the portals, I
created an upgrade that put these onto the portals.
Most Portal Directors that sell these cards price the ones on the front page,
in the first 30 second spots, for $600 for 6 months, up front. That means the
first 30 seconds of just the 4 spots you see here is worth $4,800.00 per year
to you.
After creating the upgrade, the Portal Directors asked what their cost for
the ad spots were going to be. And this is when I announced it as "Tim's Economic
Stimulus Package for Portal Directors" because there was to be no charge at all.
These ads are used to help you promote the Portal by offering high profile
local companies free trials, or to help you create more income to promote
your portal. 100% of what you collect from these ads are yours.
In addition, there are 8 tower ads that rotate in the world and local news
area, and another 3 rotating ads on top of the blog. In total there are

There is no limit to how many ads you can rotate in each spot. However,
let's make an estimate of the total amount of income you can make just from
these rotating advertisements.
Average visitor length on the front page is 5 minutes. That is enough
time to rotate 10 ads, but lets say we only sell off 5 ads to rotate on
each spot. That makes the front page space available 5 ads times 5, or
25 ads total to sell.
Average visitor length on the news pages are 12 minutes. That is enough
time to rotate 24 ads, but lets say we only sell off 12 ads to rotate on
each spot. That makes the news page space available 8 ads times 12, or
96 ads total to sell.
Average visitor length on the blog pages are 7 minutes. That is enough
time to rotate 14 ads, but lets say we only sell off 7 ads to rotate on
each spot. That makes the news page space available 3 ads times 7, or
21 ads total to sell.
So here is a summary of the ad spots you can sell:

Total rotating ad spots to sell: 142
As I was telling you the 1st 30 second spots on the front page are being
sold on average by our Portal Directors for $100.00 per month. We know
those are the most valuable spots of all the ads. So let us assume that
on average the spots can be sold for $45.00 per month.
142 ad spots times $45.00 per month average equals $6,390.00 per month. There
is no limit to the spots you can put there. I am just using this amount as
an example.
100% profit on $6,390.00 per month
Do not confuse these spots with the bread and butter ads of the portal, which are
the premium business listings. There are an unlimited amount of premium business
listings to sell. However, those you pay $100.00 per year, but the listings usually
sell for $1,000.00 to $3,500.00 per year.
Conclusion: The rotating ads are a great way to finance your portal business AND/OR
to get high profile local businesses on the front of your portal, top of your blog,
and on the local and world news pages for a 30 to 90 day free trial or until you
sell the spot to someone else.
